Where to go for free counseling?
- Question from L Penner: My health insurance doesn't offer reimbursement for mental health services, but I really need to talk to someone. Where can I go to get free or very inexpensive counseling?
- Answer —Rosalind Kleban, L.C.S.W.: Many community-based family service agencies offer inexpensive and sliding-scale fee schedules. Also, support groups for cancer patients are often free, and I think that is what I would recommend at this point.
