ALL (acute lymphoblastic leukemia)

(a-kyute limf-oh-blass-tik loo-KEY-mee-a)

A rapidly progressing cancer in which a large number of abnormal white blood cells (lymphoblasts) are present in in the blood and bone marrow. Also called acute lymphocytic leukemia.
