Mary Daly, M.D., Ph.D.
Mary Daly, M.D., Ph.D. is senior vice president of population science at the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia. She has devoted her career to the understanding of and education for breast cancer and ovarian cancer risk issues, for individuals and their families. She is a devoted and beloved physician and a distinguished clinical scientist, producing important studies on prevention and options for patients at genetic risk, reaching beyond the local scene to many different institutions to get big things done.
Mary is quiet and modest, yet passionate and effective in her work. She has been appointed to the Oversight Committee of the Women's Health Initiative and is on the professional advisory board of the Gilda Club. With her interest in reaching out to distant institutions with her research, she is a natural – and valuable – asset to Breastcancer.org.
